Light weight external hard drives that weigh 1.5 lbs or less can be attached to the Steadicam Merlin Accessory Plate. The hard drive is attached by a strip of Velcro that is supplied with the plate. The video feed to the hard drive is attached by the fire wire output from the camera to the hard drive below.
